Notes:  Sedum 'Back in Black', a 2021 introduction, is a long-awaited break-through in upright, purple-leaf stonecrops. The 1.5' tall x 1.5' wide deciduous clump of dark purple-black, rubbery foliage is stunning, even before it produces the mid-summer purple-grey buds that open as frothy lavender-pink flower heads.
